Why Account Verification Matters
Account verification serves three critical functions. First, it confirms that you are who you claim to be—this prevents account takeover and identity theft. Second, it establishes your eligibility under Indonesian anti-money-laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism-financing (CTF) rules. Third, it allows lokaltoto to process withdrawals safely and route funds to the correct person.
Many players assume verification is a hassle unique to online gaming. In reality, any platform handling bank transfers—including e-wallets like DANA, e-wallet, and mobile banking—follows identical KYC rules. Verification is a legal obligation for lokaltoto, not a choice.
Your Data Stays Secure
lokaltoto stores all verification documents in an encrypted database. Your ID number, address, and personal details are never shared with third parties. Data is accessed only by lokaltoto's compliance team and, where required by law, Indonesian regulatory authorities.
Once your account is verified, you do not need to re-upload documents for every withdrawal or deposit. Your verification status persists indefinitely unless you change your registered address or update your personal details.
Documents You'll Need
lokaltoto requires two documents: a government-issued photo ID and proof of residence. Both must be in colour and clearly legible.
- Acceptable ID documents
- Indonesian national identity card (KTP), passport, driver's license, or equivalent government-issued photo ID. Must include your full name, date of birth, and photo.
- Proof of residence
- Utility bill (electricity, water, gas), mobile phone bill, bank statement, or official government letter. Must show your name and current address and be dated within the last 3 months.
- Document format
- Upload as JPG, PNG, or PDF. File size limit is 5 MB per document. Front and back of ID cards must be uploaded as separate files.
If your ID or address has changed recently, you may need to provide updated documents. For example, if you recently relocated from Medan to Jakarta and your utility bill still shows your old address, also submit a letter from your landlord or a new mobile bill.
How to Upload Documents
Open the lokaltoto app or visit the platform on your browser. Navigate to Account → Verification. You'll see prompts for each document type. Tap or click to open your phone's camera or file browser, then select the photo or file. Ensure the image is well-lit and all text is clearly visible—blurry or partially cropped documents will be rejected and you'll need to re-upload.
After uploading both documents, review the submission. The page displays a confirmation: "Verification in progress" or similar. This means lokaltoto's team has received your documents and will review them. You do not need to do anything further.



Verification Timeline and Status Tracking
Most verifications complete within 24 business hours. lokaltoto's compliance team works Monday through Friday during standard hours. If you submit documents on Friday afternoon or during a holiday like Idul Fitri or Imlek, expect review to resume the next business day.
You can track your verification status in the app at any time. Open Account → Verification Status. You'll see one of three states:
- In progress: Documents received; team is reviewing.
- Verified: Approval complete. You can now deposit and withdraw.
- Resubmit required: Document was blurry, incomplete, or missing required information. Instructions on what to fix will appear on screen.
If your status shows "Resubmit required," follow the on-screen instructions and re-upload the flagged document. The second review usually completes within a few hours.
After Verification: Deposits and Withdrawals
Once verified, your account is ready for deposits. Open the app, select "Deposit," and choose your payment method: local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or direct bank transfer (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment). Most e-wallet deposits settle within subject to verification; bank transfers may take subject to verification to 1 hour during business hours.
Withdrawals are just as straightforward. Navigate to Account → Withdraw, enter your amount, and select your preferred payment rail. Funds return to the same method you used to deposit. For example, if you funded via e-wallet, withdrawals also go to mobile banking. This simplifies reconciliation and reduces transfer fees.
lokaltoto processes withdrawal requests throughout the day. Settlement times vary: e-wallet withdrawals typically clear within 1–2 hours; bank transfers clear within 1–3 business days depending on your bank. During Liga 1 finals or Piala AFF tournaments, banking volume may increase slightly, but lokaltoto prioritizes all withdrawal requests equally.
Account Recovery and Re-Verification
If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen. lokaltoto sends a reset link to your registered email address. You do not need to re-verify to reset your password.
If you change your registered address, you may be asked to update your proof of residence. lokaltoto will notify you in-app if an address update is needed. Submit a new utility bill or bank statement showing your new address, and the team will complete the update within 24 hours.
If your account is locked due to multiple failed login attempts, contact lokaltoto support through the help section in the app. A support representative will verify your identity and unlock your account. This process typically takes under 1 hour.
